Our goal?
To mobilize our efforts to make your mobility a success!
There is no better way to understand the challenges and problems connected with international mobility than to deal with them first-hand… L’ÉLAN team members can draw on their own personal experience. Expatriates or children of expatriates, our careers have taken us from French-speaking Africa to South America, from Europe to the United States, from India to Japan…
Permanent team members:

L'équipe de L'ÉLAN - Nicole Könz Nicole Könz, manager, founded L’ÉLAN in 1998. Born in the United States, Nicole Könz pursued her education there after spending her childhood in Austria, France, and then India. She expanded her training and her legal experience in Lausanne (Switzerland), then was transferred to France. There she became keenly aware of the difficulties encountered by international mobility initiatives and founded L’ÉLAN to help companies and expatriates in France work in compliance with the French laws and regulations. Owing to her social, legal and multi-cultural training, Nicole is fascinated with modes of integration. Very attentive to others, she always seeks the right balance between the accuracy required to do a job well, the enjoyment of providing a service and the richness of interpersonal relationships.

Nicole is your contact for all issues related to immigration, social protection, the on-line expatriation in France guide, pack’Impat and personalized advice.

L'équipe de L'ÉLAN - Catherine Brunet Catherine Brunet, immigration consultant. Parisian by birth and by choice, Catherine has had lengthy experience with human and intercultural relations with the leading French automobile manufacturer. She handled all of this company’s expatriation in France activities. For 7 years, she welcomed, assisted and trained more than 500 nationals from some fifty different countries. She met Nicole Könz, with whom she shares the same vision of assisting both expatriates in France, at the Avenir Export – Avenir Expat trade show.

Catherine is your contact for specialized advice and for handling immigration matters. She combines a warm welcome and professional expertise.

L'équipe de L'ÉLAN - Elena Levandowsky Elena Levandowsky, administrative officer, was born and educated in Moscow. After completing her degree in engineering physics, she left for Paris, curious to test the new freedom offered by Perestroïka. After earning a DEA in acoustical physics and a career in information technology, she opted for versatility, practicality and … L’ÉLAN. Her training has instilled in her a sense of rigor and organization in assisting her contacts. However, she also appreciates the dynamism and human aspect that govern relationships between L’ÉLAN and its clients.

Elena is your contact for managing subscriptions, training and conference registration and compatibility issues.

L'équipe de L'ÉLAN - Sabine Schweiger Sabine Schweiger joined L’ÉLAN in October 2005. Born in the Salzbourg region of Austria, Sabine discovered very early the delight of foreign languages and an appetite for travel. Her studies in literature and her first jobs took her to Bordeaux, England and the United States. A presentation on foreigners coming to France convinced her to contact Nicole Könz. She is now Nicole’s assistant. She prepares and updates the documentation of foreign nationals: residence permits, social protection, legalization of documents, visa applications, etc.

For you, Sabine assists your foreign employees in their dealings with the authorities. Her composure and her smile work wonders.
